The woman who shows up strong in the boardroom but still feels unseen.
The business owner who leads teams and clients but rarely has a safe space to release and be poured into.
The spiritual or community leader who gives to everyone else but rarely receives the same care.
The woman who is holding it together for her family, friends, and loved ones.
The woman who has carried the world for so long she barely remembers what it feels like to rest.
If that woman is you…
This space was created with you in mind, sis.
Many Black women in leadership were never taught how to lead without sacrificing themselves.

Instead, we were taught to survive.
Be strong.
Handle it yourself.
Don’t complain.
Don’t break down.
Don’t let them see you struggle.
So you learned to wear the cape.
You became the one everyone relies on.
The problem is…
Superwoman never gets to rest.
Superwoman is always responsible.
Superwoman is always performing strength — even when she’s exhausted.
And the longer you wear the cape, the harder it becomes to take it off.
Eventually, leadership begins to feel like constant pressure instead of purpose.
Not because you aren’t capable…
But because you were never shown another way.
The truth is, leadership was never meant to cost you your peace.
And in this masterclass, we’re going to talk honestly about what it looks like to begin releasing the cape.
Most leadership advice was never designed with Black women in mind.
It assumes everyone enters leadership spaces with the same level of safety, freedom, and acceptance.
But many Black women know that isn’t the reality.
You may feel pressure to:
Work twice as hard to be taken seriously.
Tone down your voice so you don’t appear “aggressive.”
Code switch to make others comfortable.
Manage perceptions while still delivering results.
Carry emotional labor for teams, families, and communities.
Traditional leadership models rarely acknowledge these realities.
Instead they encourage you to simply:
“Work harder.”
“Push through.”
“Stay strong.”
But constantly pushing through is exactly what keeps so many women stuck in survival mode.
What if leadership didn’t require you to shrink, perform, or carry everything alone?
What if leadership could be rooted in truth, emotional freedom, and wholeness?
That is the conversation we’re opening inside the Lunch and learn Workshop.
